Effanbee Dolls were popular throughout the last century– they got their start around 1912, right when composition dolls became en vogue. Effanbee’s claim to fame was creating the first realistically proportioned child doll, known as Patsy. Later Effanbee Dolls were made in hard plastic and vinyl.
